The Wynot Blue Devils extended their postseason success on Friday against the St. Francis Flyers. They blew past the Flyers 34-12. The victory was just business as usual for Wynot, who after ten games remain undefeated this season.
Wynot's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Dylan Heine, who threw for 217 yards and two touchdowns while completing 84% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Carson Wieseler was another key contributor, gaining 130 total yards and three touchdowns.
Wynot pushed their record up to 10-0 with that win, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 27.08 points. As for St. Francis, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-2.
Wynot will face off against Howells-Dodge at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Howells-Dodge knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past five matches -- so hopefully Wynot likes a good challenge. St. Francis does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
