Carroll entered their tilt with King on Tuesday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They snuck past the King Mustangs with a 47-42 victory. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Mustangs, too.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Carroll to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jeremy Barrios, who posted nine points and three blocks. Barrios has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last eight times he's played. Another player making a difference was Trey Rodriguez, who had nine points and five steals.

Carroll picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 11-9. As for King, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-7 record this season.

Carroll didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 76-35 victory against Corpus Christi Moody on the 13th. As for King, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, an 82-42 loss against Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial on the 13th.
