Last Friday, King Abdullah Academy took a serious blow against the Tempest, falling 48-12. King Abdullah Academy has not had much luck with the Tempest recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Meanwhile, Foxcroft's game on Monday was all tied up 14-14 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 40-30 hit to the loss column at the hands of Oakcrest.
Foxcroft's defeat came about despite a quality game from Irene Boehm, who scored 12 points. Another player making a difference was Tashae' Allen, who scored seven points.
King Abdullah Academy dropped their record down to 0-9 with that defeat, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Foxcroft, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
