Jaden Tyson was his usual excellent self, scoring 32 points along with five assists and five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaylen Wilkerson, who scored 20 points along with two steals.
Morehead lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Makel Smith, who went 7 for 16 from beyond the arc en route to 35 points and 2 assists. Smith is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 23 or more in the last seven games he's played. Seth Sharpe was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with six rebounds and five assists.
Walkertown is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. As for Morehead, they dropped their record down to 12-9 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
