Danville is 9-1 against Lebanon since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Warriors will square off against the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Danville is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They never let Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory get on the board and left with a 14-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Braves: they've now won three in a row.

Danville got a great performance from Autumn Muncy as she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 14 over six innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts Muncy has posted since back in May of 2024.
On the hitting side, Allie Gunter was incredible, going 3-for-5 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Hillman, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.
Danville hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They are a perfect 11-0 when they post two or more strikeouts.
Meanwhile, Lebanon waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They blew past the Hot Dogs 9-0.
Miley Wilhoite made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over seven innings pitched. Wilhoite was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.
In other batting news, Krryn Miller was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. Ali Bir was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
Danville's record is now 16-9. As for Lebanon, their record now sits at 22-10.
Wednesday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Danville hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .350. However, it's not like Lebanon struggles in that department as they've averaged .390. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Danville couldn't quite get it done against Lebanon in their previous meeting on Wednesday as they fell 9-6. Can the Warriors avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
