The Community Christian Academy Warriors will face off against the Westminster Catawba Christian Indians at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Community Christian Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.8 runs per game this season.
Last Friday, Community Christian Academy was able to grind out a solid win over Mountain View Christian Academy, taking the game 9-4. The victory continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now won three in a row.

Mason Maltba was incredible, scoring a run while going 2-for-2. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (three). Easton Brooks was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.
Meanwhile, Westminster Catawba Christian beat Hickory Christian Academy 6-3 on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Indians.
James Reinhardt made a splash while hitting and pitching. He pitched 6.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off nine hits. Reinhardt was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Brayden Giesler, who scored two runs and stole three bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Brooks Minarik, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2.
Community Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Westminster Catawba Christian, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.
Monday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Community Christian Academy hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .339. However, it's not like Westminster Catawba Christian struggles in that department as they've averaged .321. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Community Christian Academy's way against Westminster Catawba Christian in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Community Christian Academy made off with a 10-2 win.
