Burlington have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. They will take on Farson-Eden at home at 2:00 PM on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, Burlington and Farson-Eden will really light up the scoreboard.
Burlington put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season two weeks ago. They were fully in charge, breezing past Dubois 77-14.the rankings were on Burlington's side, but they didn't forecast quite such a lopsided result
As for Farson-Eden, they won against Meeteetse with 64 points, and they decided to stick to that point total again last Friday. Everything came up roses for Farson-Eden against Little Snake River as the squad secured a 64-19 victory. With Farson-Eden ahead 36-13 at the half, the match was all but over already.
The last time the two teams met, Burlington were close but not close enough the last time the two teams met as they fell 43-45 to Farson-Eden. Whatever the outcome in this rematch, the game is bound to be a fierce one since these are two of the top teams in the state.
