Boone Grove lost to Whiting back in January of 2019, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Boone Grove Wolves took down the Whiting Oilers 64-45. With that victory, the Wolves brought their scoring average up to 50.6 points per game.

Boone Grove's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jack Stevens, who posted 21 points. Andrew Batesole was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on 11 points and nine assists.

The victory made it two in a row for Boone Grove and bumps their season record up to 3-4. As for Whiting, they are on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Boone Grove wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 56-51 defeat against Kankakee Valley on the 26th. Whiting has also already played their next game, a 54-21 loss against Highland on the 26th.
