Merino had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Caliche on Tuesday. The Rams were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Buffaloes. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Rams also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Merino's win bumped their record up to 17-2. As for Caliche, they dropped their record down to 12-7 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Merino will head out to take on Stratton at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Caliche, they will be playing at home against Briggsdale at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
