The Desert Mirage RAMS will be playing in front of their home fans against the West Shores Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Desert Mirage and nine for West Shores.
Last Friday, Desert Mirage was beaten by Cathedral City 65-32.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Luis Jimenez, who scored 13 points. He scored a full 40.6% of Desert Mirage's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Omar Martinez, who scored 9 points.
Meanwhile, West Shores' game on Friday was all tied up 25-25 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They received a tough blow as they fell 60-42 to Borrego Springs.
The last time Desert Mirage won on the road was back last Friday. Having now lost three straight away contests, they've bumped their record down to 0-5. As for West Shores, their loss dropped their record down to 0-9.
Everything came up roses for Desert Mirage against West Shores in their previous matchup back in November of 2022 as the team secured a 69-11 win. Does Desert Mirage have another victory up their sleeve, or will West Shores turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
