Pike is 0-9 against Perry Meridian since March of 2016 but things could change on Friday. The Red Devils will face off against the Falcons at 6:00 p.m. Pike is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.4 runs per game this season.
Having struggled with six losses in a row, Pike turned things around against Indianapolis Arsenal Technical on Thursday. They walked away with an 18-13 win over the Titans.

Pike got a massive performance out of Ariel Hutchinson, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base. Those three runs gave Hutchinson a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Leah Taylor, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles.
Plainfield hit Perry Meridian with a ten-run first inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Falcons came up short against the Quakers, falling 14-2. That's two games in a row now that the Falcons have lost by exactly 12 runs.
Macy Stroud made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times she's played.
Perry Meridian's defeat dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Pike, the victory was their first on the road, bumping their record up to 5-12.
Perry Meridian's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Pike has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 11.5 hits per game. It's a different story for Perry Meridian, though, as they've been averaging 10.1 hits. Given Pike's sizable advantage in that area, the Falcons will need to find a way to close that gap.
Pike suffered a grim 13-1 defeat to Perry Meridian when the teams last played on Monday. Can the Red Devils avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
