Jefferson Davis Academy dropped down to 3-2 on Friday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They came up short against Holly Hill Academy, falling 28-6. Jefferson Davis Academy was red-hot offensively heading into the contest (they scored no less than 31 points in the three matches prior), but Holly Hill Academy's defense proved too tough.
Dalton Nix threw for 61 yards on five of 21 attempts. Landon Williams was his top target, picking up 40 receiving yards and one TD.
