Butler waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Greenville Green Wave 13-3. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 4-0 back in April.

Butler pushed their record up to 20-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Greenville, their loss dropped their record down to 9-14.

Coming up, Butler will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Archbishop Moeller at 6:30 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Aviators 2.7, the Fighting Crusaders 3.3) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Greenville, they will head out to face off against Wayne at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Green Wave are facing the Warriors at the right time seeing as the Warriors are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
