On Friday, Dixon made easy work of Spring Creek and carried off a 74-49 victory.
Avion James continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 19 points and 10 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Brayden Anderson-Sidbury, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds.
Despite the defeat, Spring Creek saw an underclassman step up: Brennan Chambers scored 3 points along with 10 rebounds.
The victory got Dixon back to even at 2-2. As for Spring Creek, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dixon will play host again and welcome Epiphany, where tip off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Spring Creek, they will be playing at home against Midway at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
