Easley won the last time they faced Woodruff, and Abi Summer did her part to make sure it happened again. The Green Wave skirted past the Wolverines 2-1 with plenty of help from Summer, who had 17 digs. She has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last four times she's played.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Easley got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 21-25, 15-9.

Despite the loss, Woodruff still got an impressive performance from Ruthie Sheffield, who had 13 digs.

Easley now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Woodruff, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Easley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Powdersville on the 20th. As for Woodruff, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Clinton on the 25th.
