Volleyball Recap: Blue River Valley Takes a Loss

The Blue River Valley Vikings lost 3-0 to the Muncie Central Bearcats on Thursday. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Blue River Valley ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-17, 25-17.

Muncie Central can attribute much of their success to Haeley Rollins, who had six digs and three aces. That's the most aces Rollins has posted since September 2nd.

Blue River Valley's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Muncie Central, they pushed their record up to 11-7 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Blue River Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Cowan on the 27th. As for Muncie Central, they will square off against Greenfield-Central at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
