Wilson Medina's Big Game Leads Sherwood over Mcminnville
Starting off the list is Sherwood's Wilson Medina, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Medina rushed for 234 yards and four touchdowns on only six carries, and also picked up 39 receiving yards and a touchdown. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 85-yard run.
The win (which was Sherwood's fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-2. Medina and Sherwood will challenge Liberty on Friday.

Andrew Waletich Delivers Best Effort of Season
On Friday, Sherwood got the W thanks in part to Andrew Waletich playing the best football he has all season. Waletich rushed for 116 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 30 receiving yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 62 yards.
Waletich might have his next game, a road matchup with Liberty, circled on his calendar. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Waletich saw the Falcons), he rushed for 74 yards and a touchdown.

Hussein Kamel Puts an End to Century's Losing Streak on Friday
Thanks in part to Hussein Kamel, Century said goodbye to their three-game losing streak. Kamel was dynamite on Friday, picking up a sack, forcing a fumble, and making 11 total tackles (3.0 for loss).
This year, Kamel has averaged 4.2 total tackles per game and for the season has 2 sacks. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 0.17 defended passes per game. This year he is averaging 0.5 defended passes.
