Oceanside extended their postseason success on Thursday against Eastside. They never let the Eastside Lions onto the board and left with  a   10-0  victory. The result was nothing new for Oceanside, who have now won 17 games by six  runs or more  so far this season.
 The result came thanks to  Nayeli Adame's shutout, as she gave up just three  hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  pitched less than five  innings in 11 consecutive pitching appearances.
 On the hitting side,  Seaven Fuimaono and  Lia Nance did most of the damage at the plate:  Fuimaono  went 3-for-3 with a  home run, two  stolen bases,  and three  RBI, while  Nance  scored three  runs and  stole six bases while going 3-for-3. Nance has been hot recently, having posted  at least one  stolen base the last 14 times she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Nalia Nuanez, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 1-for-3.
 The  win (which was Oceanside's seventh in a row) raised their record to 24-6-1. As for Eastside, their loss dropped their record down to 24-11.
 Oceanside will head out on the road to  challenge  Garfield at 1:45  p.m.  on Saturday. Garfield is on a four-game streak of home wins, Oceanside a four-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the field. Eastside does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
