Given Lynn English's advantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked 62nd, while the Red Devils are ranked 251st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Kyle Kemembin, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 14 rebounds. He has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Denzell Guillen, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds and five assists.
Lynn English has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. As for Chelsea, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lynn English will challenge the Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Chelsea, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against the Bengals at 6:00 p.m. on February 2nd.
