Inderkum took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Monday. Everything went their way against the Franklin Wildcats as they made off with a 20-0 win. The Tigers not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since September 19, 2024 (when they won 44-24).
Neha Bailey had a dynamite game, rushing for 65 yards and a pair of scores, while also picking up 65 receiving yards and one TD. She was no stranger to the big play, lighting up the secondary with a catch that went for 65 yards. Helaina Bautista was another key player, throwing for 106 yards and one touchdown on only five passes.
Another reason for the win was Inderkum's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Bautista, Hailey Flores, and Sydnee Scarborough, who each picked up one sack apiece.
