Even though the Collinsville Pirates have not done well against the Lindsay Knights recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Collinsville strolled past Lindsay with points to spare, taking the game 58-39. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Collinsville also won the last time the pair played back in January.
It was another big night for Carter Scott, who dropped a double-double on 29 points and 15 rebounds. He hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for eight straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Chad Davidson, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Collinsville has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-11 record this season. As for Lindsay, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-20.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Era the next time they take the court. Lindsay will host Era at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, while Collinsville will head out to face them at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
