Hallsville waltzed into their contest on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Whitehouse Wildcats. This was a revenge game for the Bobcats: when they faced off against the Wildcats back in March, they had to take a 2-0 defeat.

Hallsville pushed their record up to 16-8 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Whitehouse, the loss snapped their winning streak at 13 games and leaves them with a 22-6 record.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Hallsville is set to face off against their familiar foe Nacogdoches at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Whitehouse will take on rival Texas at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
