Gonzales's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They blew past the Sinton Pirates 63-26. That looming 63-26 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Apaches yet this season.

Gonzales' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brealien Jones, who went 8-for-9 on his way to 16 points in addition to eight boards and eight steals. Jones has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last three times he's played. Damion Hunt was another key player, shooting 71% from the field en route to 11 points along with five assists and five rebounds.

Gonzales now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Sinton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.
