Baseball Recap: Tolland's Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Tolland walked away with it. They walked away with a 6-2 win over the Norwich RVT Warriors on Monday. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Tolland let Wyatt Zahner and Mason Bryant run wild. Zahner went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double, while Bryant went 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI. That's the most RBI Zahner has posted since back in April. AJ Hayes was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Tolland's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-6. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.7 runs over those games. As for Norwich RVT, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-11.

As of now, neither Tolland nor the Warriors have any future games scheduled.
