Big Sandy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Cole Pierpoint led the charge by dropping a double-double on 20 points and 15 rebounds. Pierpoint hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for three straight games. Dalton Barnes was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with five assists.
Big Sandy's win bumped their record up to 3-9. As for Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central, they bumped their record down to 0-12 with that defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.
