Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Curry walked away with it. They never let the Hamilton Aggies get on the board and left with a 7-0 win on Monday. The Yellowjackets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 28 games by seven runs or more this season.

The result came thanks to Skiely Perry's shutout, as she gave up just two hits and racked up 11 Ks.

At the plate, Shileigh Williams was a standout: she got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Ambrey Taylor was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs.

The victory was the third in a row for Curry, bringing their record up to 45-3. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.7 runs over those games. As for Hamilton, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 20-22.

Curry has already played their next contest, a 10-0 victory against Haleyville on the 28th. As for Hamilton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 6-0 win against Fayette County on the 28th.
