After a string of seven wins, Edgewater's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They lost to the Colonial Grenadiers on the road by a 56-39 margin. The Eagles lost against the Grenadiers in their previous head to head back in January of 2018, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 71-32 score last time.

Edgewater's loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-6. As for Colonial, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-11.
It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Edgewater Eagles take on the Horizon Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Colonial, they will take on Central Florida Christian Academy at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.
