The West Grand Mustangs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their seventh straight loss. They took a serious blow against De Beque, falling 59-17. West Grand was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-10.
They used a three-pronged attack on offense:

Cooper Martinson, and
Stran Lechman posted four points each.
West Grand's defeat was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-7. As for De Beque, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-2.
West Grand will head out on the road to challenge North Park at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Colorado (North Park is ranked 316th, while West Grand is ranked 331st). As for De Beque, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Soroco at 6:30 p.m. Soroco and De Beque are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
