Pierce City put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season on Friday. They took the matchup and then some with a 53-0 victory over Forsyth. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 46-0.
The win bumped Pierce City's record up to 5-0. Forsyth are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-5.
Next week Pierce City take on Marionville at 7:00 PM. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous games. As for Forsyth, they will face off against Pembroke Hill. Forsyth stagger into the contest hobbled by five consecutive losses while Pembroke Hill skip in buoyed by four consecutive wins.
