After three games on the road, Temple Baptist Academy is heading back home. After both having extra time off, the Temple Baptist Academy Royal Crusaders and Mount Pisgah Christian Academy will dust off their jerseys to square off against one another at 5:30 p.m. on January 26th.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 63-14, which was the final score in Temple Baptist Academy's tilt against South Haven Christian on January 11th. Temple Baptist Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-7.
Meanwhile, Mount Pisgah Christian Academy didn't have too much trouble with Maryville Christian at home two weeks ago as they won 59-44. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Mount Pisgah Christian Academy.
Kaylynn Walls was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 29 points and ten rebounds. She has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last five times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooklyn Foster, who scored nine points along with nine rebounds.
Temple Baptist Academy dropped their record down to 0-3 with that loss, which was their seventh straight on the road. As for Mount Pisgah Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.
Temple Baptist Academy was taken down by Mount Pisgah Christian Academy 52-19 in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. The game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Temple Baptist Academy was down 32-7.
