Bellows Free Academy had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. Everything went their way against Champlain Valley Union on Saturday as they made off with a 37-6 win. That result is just more of the same for Bellows Free Academy, who also won the last time these teams played. This was the first game for both teams, giving Bellows Free Academy a 1-0 record and starting Champlain Valley Union off at 0-1.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Bellows Free Academy will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against Mt. Mansfield at 7:00 PM. Champlain Valley Union are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Rutland next week at 7:00 PM.
