Franklin Pierce hasn't had much luck against Eatonville recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Cardinals will be playing at home against the Cruisers at 4:00 p.m. Franklin Pierce is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 14.4 runs per game this season.

Kiley Sledge made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and one triple. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season.
Meanwhile, Eatonville made easy work of Clover Park on Thursday and carried off a 19-5 victory. The win continues a trend for the Cruisers in their matchups with the Timberwolves: they've now won seven in a row.
Eatonville got a massive performance out of Aubree Mills, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with four runs, two stolen bases, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases Mills has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Twedt, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Eatonville always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .698. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Having lost for the first time this season, Franklin Pierce fell to 7-1. As for Eatonville, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.
Monday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Franklin Pierce has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .553. However, it's not like Eatonville struggles in that department as they've averaged .509. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
