Todd Kagle was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one hit in four consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with four RBI and one run.

Meanwhile, Mohawk Area entered their tilt with Neshannock on Wednesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 victory over the Lancers.
Like Quaker Valley, Mohawk Area also got a great game from a two-way player: Drew Wrona. He tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Wrona was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with three RBI and one stolen base. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Bobby Fadden was excellent, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Vinny Pezzuolo, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Thursday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Quaker Valley hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .314. However, it's not like Mohawk Area struggles in that department as they've averaged .320. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
