Sophia Wascher continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Indiana School for the Deaf, scoring 30 points along with five steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Wascher has scored at least a third of Indiana School for the Deaf's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tiana Starayev, who scored four points along with 11 assists and five rebounds.
Irvington Preparatory Academy has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-13 record this season. As for Indiana School for the Deaf, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-7.

Indianapolis Washington has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 11. Indiana School for the Deaf won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Anderson Prep Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 18th. Anderson Prep Academy is hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses.
