Meanwhile, STEM School Highlands Ranch posted their closest victory since February 2, 2024 on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 70-68 win over William Smith. Given the Spartans' advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 160th, while the Eagles are ranked 328th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
STEM School Highlands Ranch's win came from a few key players Twin Peaks Classical Academy will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Dylan Figueroa, who put up 18 points. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Braden Calme, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 13 boards.

The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.3 points per game. As for STEM School Highlands Ranch, their win bumped their record up to 8-2.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Twin Peaks Classical Academy has been crashing the rebounds this season, having averaged 31.6 boards per game. However, it's not like STEM School Highlands Ranch struggles in that department as they've been averaging 35.9 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
