Troy dropped down to 3-2 on Friday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They were beaten by the Niskayuna Silver Warriors 51-12. The Flying Horses lost against the Silver Warriors in their previous head to head back in October of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 62-0 score last time.
As for Niskayuna, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
A big part of Niskayuna's win came down to the chemistry between Thomas Boler and his top target Cameron Grasso. Boler threw for 224 yards and four TDs while completing 90.9% of his passes while Grasso picked up 145 receiving yards and three scores. That's the most receiving touchdowns Grasso has posted since back in September of 2024.
