It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the New Prairie Cougars can now relate to. They suffered a rough 38-14 defeat at the hands of NorthWood on Friday. New Prairie's loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.
Although New Prairie took the loss, they still got scores from Marshall Kmiecik and Trenton Klute.
Among those leading the charge was Nitro Tuggle, who picked up 208 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
New Prairie's defeat dropped their record down to 10-3. As for NorthWood, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-2.
New Prairie does not have any more games scheduled as of now. NorthWood will head out on the road to face off against Leo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Leo is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
