Crawford moved up to 987 from 1,014 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Central. A 30-28 win over Vincent Memorial helped the Colts improve their standing.
Crawford and the Scots played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with Crawford eventually emerging with a 30-28 victory.
Coronado's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Mason Copp threw for 14 yards and Matt Halvorson had 22 yards receiving. On the ground Halvorson chipped in 29 yards.
Christian's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Patriots feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Michael Carrillo has thrown for 614 yards and eight touchdowns this season, while Phillip George has 12 catches for 190 yards. Rayvon Owens leads the league in rushing with 629 yards.
A big matchup in Central this week will be when the Islanders take on Christian. Coronado is in fifth place, while the Patriots are in first place.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Tony Isabella's team takes on Christian. The Islanders have allowed 143 points this season, while Matt Oliver's team has given up 86. Coronado allowed 21 points last week as it lost to La Jolla.
