After starting their season with two straight games on the road, Worth County is finally coming home. They will be defending their home-field for the first time when they go up against the Dooly County Bobcats at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Even though they lost, Worth County was moving up and down the field and finished the game with 472 total yards. That's the most total yards they've posted since back in September of 2023.
Meanwhile, Dooly County also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Mitchell County by a score of 30-20.
Worth County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Dooly County, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
Everything came up roses for Worth County against Dooly County in their previous matchup back in August of 2019 as the team secured a 37-7 victory. In that matchup, Worth County amassed a halftime lead of 27-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
