The result was an unpleasant reminder to Cincinnati College Prep Academy of the 42-28 loss they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture on January 5th.
DePaul Cristo Rey's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Nyeemah Pickens, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Pickens is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last four games she's played. Jazmin Tubbs was another key contributor, scoring three points along with eight rebounds and six blocks.
Cincinnati College Prep Academy's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-9. As for DePaul Cristo Rey, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.
