The Red Cloud Warriors entered their tilt with the Harvard Cardinals with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Red Cloud blew past Harvard, posting a 49-12 victory at home. That 49-12 margin sets a new team best for Red Cloud this season.
Red Cloud got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Logan Brown out in front who scored ten points. Those ten points set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Avery Fangmeyer, who scored ten points.
Despite the defeat, Harvard saw an underclassman step up: Tabi Forney scored nine points along with four steals. Forney is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season.
Red Cloud's victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Harvard, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-10.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Red Cloud won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Elba at 2:00 p.m. on January 6th. Hopefully Elba focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 last Friday. Harvard won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Kenesaw at 5:30 p.m. on January 6th. Hopefully Kenesaw focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 23 on Friday.
