Omaha R found their leader in underclassman Stephen Vankat, who scored 23 points along with eight steals. Jack Vankat was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Omaha R's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-7. As for Varsity Opponent, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 28 of their last 32 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 358-1290-2 record this season.
