American was led to victory by Kiratraj Sanghera and Tanvir Chatrath. Sanghera dropped a double-double on 13 points and 14 rebounds, while Chatrath scored 18 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Sanghera has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Jordan Bucko, who scored 15 points.
American is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season. As for Mission San Jose, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-10.
