On Friday, Central Heights earned a 56-48 win over Alvin.
Despite the loss, Alvin still got an impressive performance from Kendell Jackson, who scored 26 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals. Jackson scored a full 54.2% of Alvin's points, the second time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Maddy Kincaide, who scored 15 points along with 5 assists and 5 rebounds.
Central Heights is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 3-4 record this season. As for Alvin, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season.
Central Heights will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Midland at 10:40 a.m. on December 2nd. As for Alvin, they will square off against Giddings at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. Giddings is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
