There's no place like home for the Shalhevet Firehawks, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Saturday. They came out on top against Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica by a score of 64-55 on Wednesday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Despite the loss, Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica still got an impressive performance from Cameron Swist, who scored 24 points along with six assists and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Michael Caceres, who scored ten points.
Shalhevet has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-10 record this season. As for Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-15.
