Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fairfield). They enjoyed a cozy 45-27 win over the Wayne City Indians on Thursday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Mules as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.

Fairfield's win bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Wayne City, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-5.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Eldorado the next time they take the court. Fairfield will head out to face Eldorado at 7:15 p.m. on Monday, while Wayne City will host them at 6:00 p.m. on January 14, 2025.
