On Thursday, things could have been worse for Orme, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 56-41 loss to Caurus Academy.
Orme lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Preston Tisi, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds. Owen Rudolph was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Orme has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season. As for Caurus Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 8-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Orme will face off against Wickenburg Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Wickenburg Christian Academy will be coming into the contest with an undefeated record on the line. As for Caurus Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against New Way Learning Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
