Saydel took a six-run loss the last time they faced off against Boone, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Eagles skirted past the Toreadors 7-6. This was a revenge game for the Eagles: when they faced off against the Toreadors on Thursday, they had to take a 11-5 defeat.

Saydel is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.6 runs over those games. As for Boone, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 8-2.

Looking ahead, Saydel will square off against Roland-Story at 5:15 p.m. on Monday.
