Chester have had to suffer through a 4-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They put a hurting on Hanson to the tune of 42-6. Chester were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
The win bumped Chester's record up to 1-4. Hanson are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-6.
Next week Chester take on Garretson at 7:00 PM. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous games. Hanson will have some time to rest before their next match, which is against Canistota/Freeman in two weeks at 7:00 PM. Hanson stagger into the matchup hobbled by six consecutive losses while Canistota/Freeman skip in buoyed by five consecutive wins.
