While Ignacio didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They breezed by the Dove Creek Bulldogs to the tune of 67-39 on Saturday. The Bobcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 26 points or more this season.

Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Josh Kibel, who posted five points in addition to five boards and three steals. Clayton Smith also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.

Ignacio's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-4. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 44 points. As for Dove Creek, they now have a losing record at 4-5.

Ignacio didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 68-41 victory against Sargent on the 14th. Dove Creek has also already played their next game, a 39-26 win against Mancos on the 14th.
